The Rock Rest Lodge in Golden, Colorado, was originally erected in 1885. A mining lodge, ballroom, and private brothel, the Rock Rest grew into an underground music venue with the likes of Louis Armstrong performing with the George Morrison Orchestra… and a musician hangout with the likes of Keith Richards partying on the patio!
